🎣 FISHING & GEAR:
1. I am a beginner. Which brand should I start with: Shimano, Daiwa, or PENN?
All three are excellent! Generally, Shimano is great for smoothness, Daiwa for technical innovation/lightness, and PENN for rugged durability. For a beginner, we often recommend a versatile spinning reel like the Daiwa BG or Shimano Sedona.
2. Do you offer pre-spooled reels?
Our reels are generally sold without line to allow you to choose your preferred braid or mono. However, if you purchase a braid (like Lucana or PowerPro) along with a reel, we can spool it for you upon request before shipping!
3. How do I know which rod is right for the lures I use?
Every rod listed on our site includes a "Lure Weight" specification. Ensure your lure falls within that range to prevent rod breakage and to achieve maximum casting distance.
📦 SHIPPING & DELIVERY:
1. Do you ship all over India?
A: Yes! From our base in Margao, Goa, we ship pan-India. Whether you are in the Himalayas or the tip of Kanyakumari, Catch and Camp will get your gear to you.
2. How long will it take to receive my order?
A: Most orders are processed within 48 hours. Depending on your location, standard shipping takes 5–7 business days, while express shipping takes 2–4 business days.
3. Can I track my order?
A: Absolutely. Once your gear is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email/SMS to follow your package's journey.
💳 PAYMENTS & RETURNS:
1. What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept all major Credit/Debit cards, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.), and Net Banking through our secure payment gateway.
2. Can I return a product if I change my mind?
A: We accept returns within 2 days, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging, and has all tags intact. Please note that used fishing lines or lures that have seen water cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.
3. What happens if my rod arrives broken?
A: We take immense care in packaging (using PVC pipes or heavy-duty tubes for rods). If your item is damaged during transit, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos of the packaging and the product so we can assist you with a replacement.
🏕️ CAMPING & OUTDOORS:
1. Are your tents suitable for the Indian Monsoon?
A: We stock a variety of tents with different "Waterhead" ratings. For the monsoon, we recommend tents with a rating of at least 2000mm-3000mm. Check the product descriptions for specific weather ratings.
2. Do you have a physical store I can visit?
A: Yes! If you are in Goa, come visit the Catch and Camp store in Margao. We love meeting fellow enthusiasts and talking gear in person.
